meghan markle veja, veja trainers sale

There is no such thing as a Veja trainers sale (the best you can find is usually 10% off), HOWEVER, it’s almost Black Friday, which means you’ll be able to get some good discounts on the popular trainers from various retailers.

Last year, you could get an incredible 30% off, which is a little unheard of. In case you are unfamiliar with French brand Veja, you’re likely to have seen the trainers around. They’re a hit with celebrities and royals alike, from Meghan Markle to Emma Watson and Katie Holmes, thanks to their sustainable and ethical creds.

You’ll have to wait until Friday 26th November 2021, the start of Black Friday, to get those discounts. Here are some styles I’m saving in my basket, ready to shop when they get reduced.

What Veja shoes did Meghan Markle wear?

Meghan Markle, was photographed wearing Veja trainers while on a boat trip in Sydney Harbour with Prince Harry in October 2018. The Duchess sported the brand’s popular V-10 sneakers, which come in various colourways, though she opted for a classic black logo on white background design.

You can buy these from loads of different retailers, from Office to Net-A-Porter, all of which are likely to offer discounts for Black Friday.

Is Veja a luxury brand?

The luxury aspect of Veja trainers come from how they’re made. Veja source natural, wild rubber directly through the native Seringueiro communities within the Amazon rainforest, eradicating harmful emissions and saving water and energy. The soles are made from this innovative, ethical alternative. The entire process is fair-trade and ethical, so you can feel good wearing your trainers.
They cost just over £100 on average per pair, which is why they’re considered luxury, though they are in a similar price bracket than the likes of Nike, adidas and more.
