On Monday, new Boss global ambassador S.Coups attended the Met Gala wearing a custom look inspired by a Korean hanbok jeogori jacket, with a matching gray wool flannel blazer with hanbok double-breasted collar and coordinating stand-collar shirt. The look was accessorized with gray wool heeled boots, and a Piaget diamond watch.

“Working with S.Coups has been a very smooth process,” said Boss creative director Marco Falcioni of the brand’s first collaboration with the musician, who was named an ambassador late last month.  

“The conversation was very much about what does tailoring mean for S.Coups,” Falcioni said, adding that he aimed to create a tailored look that would resonate with both the brand’s DNA and S.Coups. The conversation quickly turned to the hanbok, and the team decided to design an outfit informed by the construction and proportions of the traditional Korean garment. “ We were able to create something which was new to us [Boss], new for S.Coups, and resonated well for both.”
