If you need a little travel inspo for whenever we can do that again, or (more realistically) you just want to feel like you’re in France for 10, 30-minute episodes, Emily in Paris has got your back.
And because I also like to pretend I’m travelling and not spending every day in the same flat, I rounded up all of the real locations that the characters visit so you can dream about visiting them… or use Google Maps to walk around in Emily’s neighbourhood visiting her favourite bakery and her neighbour’s restaurant. I actually did this and it was more fun than you’d think to virtually step into Emily’s world and leave the trash fire that is the real world behind for just a moment.

Episode 1: “Emily In Paris”
What Emily’s Up To: Emily gets transferred to work in the Paris office of her marketing company Savoir. She’s thrilled for a chance at living life like the Parisians do — or like how she thinks they do.
Where Emily Goes: Her trip to Paris begins with a montage of all the major landmarks: the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the L’Assemblee Nationale, etc. Then she heads to her new home located in the Place de l’Estrapade square. She quickly establishes a routine in her neighbourhood like frequenting the local bakery Boulangerie Moderne for a delicious chocolate croissant.
She also establishes a routine near her office, which is above the Galerie Patrick Fourtin. She eats lunch in a nearby park called Jardin Du Palais Royale, where she meets Mindy (Ashley Park) a nanny who takes her under her wing to teach Emily all about Paris.
Of course, her first day in Paris wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Pont Des Arts — otherwise known as the famous lock bridge where lovers pledge themselves to each other by placing a padlock on the fencing.

Episode 2: “Masculin, Féminin”
What Emily’s Up To: Diving into the world of marketing and catching the eye of one of her married clients… who is already stepping out on his wife with Emily’s boss. C’est très compliqué.
Where Emily Goes: It’s another garden for Emily’s morning jog, this time at the Jardin du Luxembourg which is nearby to her apartment. The show does a really good job of having Emily’s activities actually make sense for where she lives, as this garden is six minutes from her quaint abode.
This episode also introduces us to Emily’s hot neighbor Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), the chef of a nearby restaurant next door to her beloved bakery. In real life, the restaurant serves Italian food and is called Terra Nera. For the show, it was changed to Les Deux Compères, or “the two friends.”

Episode 3: “Sexy Or Sexist?”
What Emily’s Up To: Helping out on a commercial shoot for a client’s perfume. She’s forced to attempt to explain why having the female model walk naked through a group of men leering at her could be read as sexist, but the perfumer questions, is it just sexy? (Not really, no.)

Episode 4: “A Kiss Is Just A Kiss”
What Emily’s Up To: Trying to impress both her perfume client and a hotelier while also making a new friend Camille (Camille Razat) and expressing her feelings for Gabriel. She’s a busy gal.
Where Emily Goes: Her new friend Camille invites Emily to a gallery opening to meet a fancy hotelier, and the exhibit is held at the Galerie de Garipuy, which doesn’t seem to be a real place. What is a real place, though is Le Grand Véfour, the upscale restaurant that Emily tries and fails to get a reservation at. It has two Michelin stars, so it probably would have been an excellent meal… if she was able to get a table.Photo: Courtesy of Netflix.
Episode 5: “Faux Amis”
What Emily’s Up To: Her Instagram account @emilyinparis is growing rapidly and turning Emily into a bonafide influencer. Her boss is threatened by that and tells Emily to take the page down until she realizes that it could help their clients — not hurt them.
Where Emily Goes: She gets breakfast with Mindy at Café De La Nouvelle Mairie, which is right by her apartment and across the street from Gabriel’s restaurant. She also heads to an influencer event at Hotel d’Evreux and goes to a Van Gogh exhibit at the avant-garde museum Atelier des Lumières.
Later, Emily grabs drinks with Mindy for an Instagrammable night to remember at La Maison Rose, and the two walk down “the prettiest street in Paris.” Mindy calls this road “Ruelle Qui Va Au Bout,” which means “the road which leads to the end.” But in real life the street is called “Rue de l’Abreuvoir,” and it has indeed been called one of the prettiest streets in Paris. Episode 6: “Ringarde”
What Emily’s Up To: Her firm is trying to nab a fashion designer as a client, but he takes issue with Emily’s basic-ness. She also meets a cute professor at a café who regales her with tales of Paris-past.
Where Emily Goes: She meets professor Thomas (Julien Floreancig) at Café de Flore, which he says used to be one of Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir’s favorite spots.
Also featured in this episode is the same Jardin Du Palais Royale park where Mindy and Emily first met. Only this time, Mindy agrees to sing for a small crowd there as she works her way towards making that her career.
Later, a double date between Camille and Gabriel and Emily and Thomas takes them along the water on the Canal Saint-Martin and to a restaurant called Lulu La Nantaise. Emily also hits up the ballet at the impressive opera house, Palais Garnier.Photo: Courtesy of Netflix.
Episode 7: “French Ending”
What Emily’s Up To: She’s tasked with looking after an American actress who’s in town to model a pricey watch at a luxurious party. Too bad the actress has no intention of behaving.

Episode 8: “Family Affair”
What Emily’s Up To: She heads to Champagne for the weekend to visit Camille’s family winery. While there, she gets into some trouble with Camille’s brother.

Episode 9: “An American Auction In Paris”
What Emily’s Up To: She helps a charity out by securing a dress donation from her fashion designer client. But the dress becomes a target of two performance artists.
Where Emily Goes: She meets up with a member of American Friends of the Louvre (a real organisation!) Ralph Lauren’s restaurant Ralph’s, which is famous for its American food. She also heads to the Louvre itself for the benefit auction and spends some time at Galerie Cipango when Camille has another opening.Photo: Courtesy of Netflix.
Episode 10: “Cancel Couture”
What Emily’s Up To: After her designer refuses to show at Paris Fashion Week, Emily pulls out all the stops to make his show happen.
Where Emily Goes: She grabs drinks with Mindy at Les Deux Stations bistro, takes a boat ride on the Seine, visits the lock bridge (again), and checks out her designer’s fashion week show at La Monnaie de Paris, where France’s Euro coins are normally made.Photo: Courtesy of Netflix.
